The British Library, in conjunction with Microsoft’s Windows Live is collecting a snapshot of email from UK residents all through May 2007.
Email Britain is collecting messages from people to be preserved for future generations to get a glimpse of daily, virtual, life in the early 21st Century.

Some media reports give an email address for submissions but it’s a little more complicated than that – check out the Categories and details on the web site.
