Time off around the world

How does your country compare when it comes to paid vacation and public holidays.

CNN has a list of countries to compare paid vacation and public holiday laws around the world - the table is here.

It's not mentioned, but clicking on the column headings will re-sort the list.  Click on 'Paid Public Holidays' to see the country with the most national days off at the top (India).

The same trick works in many Office dialog boxes (like File | Open lists).

Look at the notes at the bottom -- you might be surprised to see Canada so low on the list, until you see they've used the lowest paid vacation time in a province rather than the more common national figure.
