Office for Mere Mortals
Over the years,
many OW readers have told me that they like the hard-hitting,
up-to-the-nanosecond meat in Office Watch - but the technical level is sometimes
overwhelming. Believe me, I understand. If you don't use Microsoft Office
all day, every day, a lot of the details just fly right over your head. I'm
the same way. Ask me a question about Photoshop or Pagemaker or Publisher,
say, and I don't have a clue.
Peter Deegan came up with
an interesting idea: why not publish a tutorial companion to OW? That way
we can fill in the details for folks who are coming up to speed on Office,
and give them the background they need to become more proficient, and
understand the implications of all the new developments in the Office
milieu.
Think of OfMM as a FREE way to get your Office money's worth. Hey, you (or
your company) spent a bundle for the software. Why not learn how to use it?
OfMM takes you from the ground up.
We don't assume that you're an Office guru.
We don't assume that you're a dummy, either!
We know that you're smart - just not so smart about Office.
Yet.
Click the Subscribe button up at the top there, to sign up for OfMM. While
you're at it, if you don't already subscribe to OW, you should consider
signing up for it, too, even if some of the articles are a bit heavy for
you. OW will keep you on top of all the latest news about Office. OfMM
will help you understand the big picture, and fill in the gaps in your
knowledge of Office things. An unbeatable combination, eh?
Yep, it's absolutely FREE. All of the Office Watch ezines are supported
exclusively by advertisers: we don't give away (or sell) subscriber
information to anybody, ever, under any circumstances. Period.
