100 points ?  symbol is also known as ’100’, ‘Keep it 100’ or ‘Keeping it real’.

The Microsoft version of Hundred Points looks quite different with black borders. Other versions, such as Apple and Google, have red text only.

Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Insert | Symbols | Symbol and can’t find the 100 points symbol because it’s in the Unicode higher range beyond what Word can cope with. Word’s Find can’t find all Unicode symbols and emoji

In Windows there are several shortcuts to enter the 100 points ?  character into any program, but they use a numeric keypad, not the number row above the letters.

MacOS and Office for Mac inserting characters

On a Mac, to enter the 100 points ? symbol:

  • Command + Control + Spacebar shortcut to open the Character Viewer.   
  • Search for “ 100 “ and the Viewer should find the symbol you need.

Despite the name Character Viewer, the Apple system tool will also insert characters into any program, including Office for Mac.
