Microsoft has released more updates for Office
The monthly security updates are out for February but finding out their details ain’t easy. Microsoft’s web site points you to a page labeled ‘Security updates summary for February 2006‘ but this page only has generic information about updating your system. There’s no information or links specific to the Feb 06 updates.
There’s seven updates, mostly for Windows or Internet Explorer. The WMF problems continue and there are some Windows Media Player matters – all of which are handled by the Windows auto-update feature.
For Office users there are two new patches, the first one has wider affect than you might think.

is detailed here . It only applies to Office 2003 Korean language versions plus any other Office 2003 installs that also have Office 2003 Proofing Tools (even if you don’t have the Korean language component installed). Korean language versions of Windows are also affected.
It’s easy to overlook given the title of the problem but a careful reading of the Microsoft bulletin makes it clear that ALL Office 2003 users who have the Multilingual User Interface Packs or are affected – whether you use the Korean features or not. This includes not only Office 2003 but also all related products like Visio, Project or OneNote 2003.
