We’ve had Hotmail for many years, we’ve had Outlook and more recently we’ve had Outlook with Hotmail support. So what’s new?
Outlook Live is a combination of the enhanced Hotmail Plus! Service with a subscription license to let you use Outlook 2003 for the year that the service lasts.
You can use Outlook 2003 as usual, connected to the Internet or not. But when connected to the Internet your email, calendar, contacts and tasks are replicated to the Hotmail service. This means you can access the same information from any web browser.
For example – you have Outlook Live installed on a home computer but when at work you can check your email, update the calendar from your web browser. Just login to Hotmail and see the same details as you have in Outlook at home. Of course you can be anywhere to connect to Hotmail, at a friends house or an Internet caf‚ anywhere in the world.
