Yet more security holes in Word where a maliciously created file could run code on your computer. Details here.

The amusing security hole is the story that Vista’s voice recognition system could be used to run commands on your computer. Imagine having the voice command system on then playing a sound file (on a web site or MP3) – the sound file plays, is heard by the microphone and Vista acts upon it!

Amazing _if_ anyone could get their speaker and microphone in just the right positions with a sound file sufficiently clear to say things like ‘Double-click Recycle Bin’ and in a voice that is recognized by your system.
