Is your Outlook 2007 ‘instant’ search working properly?
We’ve had plenty of trouble finding messages that are clearly stored in Outlook 2007 but won’t show up in any search.
We suspect the problem is either related to multiple Outlook profiles or an indexing problem with large PST/OST storage. Most likely the Windows Indexing system is to blame, not Outlook 2007 itself.
There’s nothing in the Microsoft Knowledge Base but complaints are appearing in various forums – it would be interesting to know how widespread the problem is. If you’re having trouble with search in Outlook 2007, tell us your story 2007indexing@office-watch.com
