Robin Trew and Andrew Koch suggested using DocVariable fields, which have a limit of 64,000 characters, and Anatoly Molotkov suggested just writing the contents of the Access field directly to the Word document, using TypeText (bypassing the variable entirely), which of course is the simplest solution of all! I guess I got carried away with passing the data through variables, but sometimes it isn’t necessary (or even desirable).
