Office 2007 comes to MSDN subscribers earlier than expected.

Office 2007 is now available to MSDN subscribers for download via their web site msdn.microsoft.com – if you can get on.

Available are Office 2007 Professional, English, German and Japanese editions plus other incarnations of Office 2007 like Visio, OneNote, InfoPath, Project and Groove.

If you’re keeping score, the Office 2007 final build number is 12.0.4518.1014

Windows Vista is also now available for MSDN subscribers.

It’s hard to logon onto MSDN and get downloads at the moment, doubtless due to the heavy load of Office 2007 and Vista downloads. Patience is a virtue … though using the MSDN web site can be an exercise in frustration at the moment.

Copies of Office 2007 Beta 2 TR will continue to work until early 2007 so there’s no immediate rush to switch over.
