Q: Gregory Hoffman asks: Is it possible to view reports when running a database on a laptop not connected to a printer?
A: Yes, so long as you have installed the printer driver on the laptop (when it is connected to the printer, or to the network that has a printer connected). Then you can preview the report even when the laptop is not connected to the printer. (This works in Access 2003; it probably works for earlier versions as well, but I didn’t test for other versions.)
