How to change the names for the fields in the column headings.

A: The text in the column headings can be set in the Caption property of the field in the query builder. Open the row source query or SQL statement in the query builder, select the field whose column heading you want to change, check that the properties sheet title bar says “Field Properties,” and enter the heading you want in the Caption property. This heading will then display when the list is dropped down. The same technique can be used for column headings in datasheet subforms.
