Office-Watch.com readers tell us that Microsoft has automatically given them a 25% credit on their August bills.
Back on 17 August there was a disconnection of some North American Office 365 customers for most of a workday. Microsoft was full of weasel words about ‘a few customers experiencing difficulty’ etc so the full extent of the problem isn’t known outside the company.
At least they honored their ‘uptime’ commitment that if the service wasn’t available more than 99.9% of the time there would be a 25% refund. It seems that’s been done without delay and without requiring customers to do anything. Excellent!
