Word 2013 has a new non-security update for our Dutch friends … but what it does is a mystery.
In typical Microsoft fashion, all they’ll say is that KB3213567
“… improves some translations for the Dutch version of Word 2013. “
which could mean almost anything.
It doesn’t appear to be changes to the Dutch spell-check dictionary or other proofing tools.
More than ten key files are updated, including Winword.exe itself. Presumably it’s something related to the ribbon text or menus.
It’s strange that any problem has taken this long to be fixed and only in Word 2013. Nothing for Word 2007 or Word 2016?
