How Goggles 🥽 looks in different fonts.

Take a screen shot of this table and insert as a replacement

As usual the Apple Color Emoji font version looks a lot more like the object.

Goggles 🥽 codes

These are the important code numbers or values you’ll need to enter the Goggles or 🥽

Hex:   1F97D

Web:   🥽

(web codes aren’t used in Microsoft Office, we’ve included them for the sake of completeness.)

Word and Outlook

The Goggles 🥽  sign does NOT have an inbuilt shortcut in Word.

Use the standard Word Alt + X symbol shortcut 1F97D  then Alt + X

Once in a document you can copy it to AutoCorrect and make your own shortcut.

Insert | Symbol

Insert | Symbols | Symbol and look for the Goggles symbol. Select a font that has the symbol then enter 1F97D in the Unicode box.

Office icons

There’s no Office Icons (SVG) for goggles. The nearest we could find are by searching for ‘mask’. The snorkel icons might be enough after editing out the snorkel and bubbles.

Window 11/10 Emoji Panel

The Windows 11/10 Emoji Panel has the Goggles 🥽  character. Use Win + . (period/fullstop) to open the panel.

See Emoji Panel is part of Windows 11/10 that totally sucks

MacOS and Office for Mac inserting characters

On a Mac, to enter the Goggles 🥽 symbol:

  • Command + Control + Spacebar shortcut to open the Character Viewer.
  • Search for “ Goggles “ or just “ goggle “ and the Viewer should find the symbol you need.

Despite the name Character Viewer, the Apple system tool will also insert characters into any program, including Office for Mac.
