The Outlook Calendar views can change quickly with some shortcuts that work for both Outlook for Windows (classic and new) plus Outlook for Mac.
The shortcuts follow the order of the Home | Arrange buttons in Outlook for Windows.
Day – Ctrl + Alt + 1
Work Week – Ctrl + Alt + 2
Week – Ctrl + Alt + 3
Month – Ctrl + Alt + 4
This works with both Outlook for Windows classic and new (Ctrl + Alt + n
) plus Outlook for Mac (Ctrl + Cmd + n
)
Easy to remember in Windows because the order of the shortcuts is the same as on the ribbon.
In Outlook for Mac the views are hidden behind a menu at top-right. There’s another view ‘Three Day’, the shortcuts skip that view to keep the same key-combos as in Windows.
Reminder: jump to the Outlook Calendar using the Ctrl + 2
(Cmd + 2
) shortcut see Quick View shortcuts for Outlook
