Microsoft 365 summary that's readable!
Here’s a readable and searchable version of the Microsoft 365 summary table that came with Microsoft’s announcement of the rebranding from Office 365 to Microsoft 365.
It shows the differences between ‘free’ Office (with a Microsoft account), Microsoft 365 Personal (formerly Office 365 Personal) and Microsoft 365 Family (formerly Office 365 Home).
Important limitations on some of the ‘new’ features are buried in the footnotes.
At the very bottom of the Redmond announcement was the vital fine print. And it’s literally fine print. It’s an image of a complex table with even smaller footnotes. All that info is hard to read and not searchable. We’re sure that didn’t occur to Microsoft which provided the picture version as a ‘convenience’ to readers.
With a combination of OCR and some painstaking work by Megan Casey, here’s a text version of Microsoft’s information. It looks different but all the same text is there, including the footnotes in a readable font size.
