A Loop feature that should be in all Office apps

Microsoft Loop has a new feature that should be added to Word and PowerPoint, see what text has been written by Copilot AI instead of a human.

Loop is adding a tag (‘floatie’) which shows who wrote some text and includes ‘Copilot’ as one of those authors.

That’s a very useful piece of information especially with group collaborated documents. It’s nice to know who has really wrote something.

We had a look inside a Word document but underlying XML doesn’t have any marker to show Copilot written or rewritten content.  That’s an unfortunate omission. Just one more thing for Microsoft’s long, long Copilot To Do list.
