Here are the exact colour codes and new names for the ‘Overground’ lines in London, plus how to add a thick double line in Office documents just like on a Tube map. The changeover is happening in late November 2024.
Some old rail lines in London were coloured Orange on maps and just called ‘Overground’. Now those lines are better integrated into the ‘Tube’ network, they now have their own names and colors to go with the familiar Victoria, Northern, Elizabeth and many other lines.
Each London tube line has its own colour that’s used in the roundel circle, signs and the famous Underground Map. (we’re talking about the English so we’ll use their spelling of ‘colour’😀)
The correct line color and double-line can help in documents or signs with directions to a location, for example.
Or maybe you just like the color scheme and want to copy it.
Here’s is each of the ‘new’ train lines with their colour in both Hex and RGB.

A thick double line of the famous Tube Map is possible in Office, however it’s not obvious from the initial options which have only single line choices.
Draw a single line from Insert | Shapes | Line
Hint: hold down Shift key while drawing the line to keep it straight, horizontal or vertical.
Right-click on the line and choose Format Shape .,,
That opens the side-pane which has many line formatting options.
Color: select a colour.
Width: increase to about 15pt
