How to set column heading text for datasheets.
Q: Jane H. writes that she has started using a naming convention for form controls (Helen’s comment: definitely a good idea!), but now she is seeing the control names, with prefixes, as the column headings in datasheet subforms. Is there any way to remove the prefixes in the column headings?
A: This is an annoying side effect of applying a naming convention, but it can easily be fixed, by giving the datasheet controls labels with the desired column headings as text. (See the datasheet subform in the sample database for an example; the labels are hidden underneath the text boxes.)
