Who owns Office.porn and Office.adult ?
According to a report at CNN Money … Microsoft has bought both Office.porn and Office.adult !
It’s not likely they’ll be used. Microsoft is probably preempting any attempt to hijack those names when .porn and .adult Top Level Domains go online from 1 June 2015.
They aren’t the only brand to get ahead of opportunists. One Taylor Swift (“a popular singer m’Lord, in the modern style”) has grabbed her name in both TLD’s. Presumably other famous names and brands have done the same thing for up to US$2,500 each.
Another questionable TLD coming up is .sucks so presumably Microsoft will dip into their petty cash tin for office.sucks as well as windows.sucks etc.
