COVID-19 Excel workbook improvements

We’ve made a few changes to our COVID-19 tracking workbook for Excel 365.

The kind comments from readers are much appreciated.  For those of you who asked, it was made by our Editor-in-Chief, Peter Deegan, who is safely locked-down in London.

Peter refreshed the COVID-19 statistics (which any Excel 365 will do from Data | Refresh All).

Some more comparison statistics have been added.

  • ‘Spanish’ flu estimates for cases and deaths in the US and UK showing that pandemic was far worse than coronavirus.
  • Standard / Normal ‘influenza’ statistics for the USA, proving that the regular flu is a lot LESS deadly than COVID-19.

A new ‘Sources’ tab has links to the sources we used for historical data.
