MacOS and Office for Mac inserting characters

On a Mac, to enter the Grinning Face 😀 emoji:

  • Command + Control + Spacebar shortcut to open the Character Viewer.  
  • Search for “Grinning “ or “Face” and the Viewer should find the emoji you need.
