Triangular Flag 🚩 in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Insert the Triangular Flag 🚩 emoji into Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Outlook. There are two different looks and plenty of colors to choose from, not just the Red Flag default.

Triangular Flag 🚩 emoji is usually used to warn people of bad ideas or problems or refer to unsafe/dangerous situations.  As you’ll see, it can be changed to any color.

How Red Triangular Flag 🚩 looks in different fonts.

Here’s some examples of how Red Triangular Flag 🚩 looks in common Office fonts. As you can see, it’s not always red because color support is so spotty in Office.

The Segoe UI Emoji and Segoe UI Symbol versions are almost the same, the main difference is the rounded bottom of the flagpole and equal sided triangle in the ‘Symbol’ version.

Different color flags

Just use the Font Color picker to change the flag and pole color to anything you wish.

Flag with different colors

To make a flag with different colors for the pole and flag … choose one of the Office Icons, then convert to Shape. Now the icon is separated into two elements, each can be colored or altered.
