There are updates for Office 2000, Office XP and Office 2003 in the June 2005 package.
A Microsoft Word patch covers the “Ginwui” exploit we warned about in a special issue of Office Watch and is needed for Word 2000, 2002 (XP) and 2003 plus various Works suites and the Word viewer.
There is also a patch for Powerpoint 2000, 2002 (XP) and 2003 for Windows plus Office v X and 2004 for Mac.

WORD PATCH FOR JUNE 2006
There are separate patches for many variations on Word including some that might not occur to you.
It prevents use of the “Ginwui” exploit we warned about in a special issue of Office Watch and is needed for Word 2000, 2002 (XP) and 2003 plus various Works suites (which include a full version of Word) and the Word viewer.

Office 2003 Service Pack 2 is preferred and the smaller patch requires SP2. If you have Office 2003 Service Pack 1 then you’ll need the ‘full file’ patch at the above link Check your Help | About menu and look for ‘SP1’ or ‘SP2’ to see which version you have. You also need Windows Installer v2 or higher – there are links to these downloads at the above link.
Word Viewer 2003
The free viewer for Word documents needs a special patch, but you need the latest version (11.0.6505.0 )of the viewer from here.

The ‘full file’ update works with Office 2003 Service Pack 1 or 2.
