Looks like the Prime Minister of Denmark won’t be sending out press releases in Word DOC format any more. He got stung by embarrassing data hidden in the DOC files. Henceforth, everything goes out in PDF.

One Office Watch reader added an interesting note to the fray: “Hey Woody – lawyers strip out the Metadata from documents because (among other reasons) of potential discovery issues – if the workstation or network path is recoverable, then they can be “discovered” – your hard drives subpoenaed, etc.”
