It’s one alternative to a common problem – laptop cases that looks like they contain a laptop.
Most cases for portable computers are obvious. They just scream “high value, portable and easily fenced item inside“, in other words “steal me“.
Far better to keep your laptop/netbook is something far more discreet without a computer related logo. Any bag supplied with the computer is out as are most of the ‘laptop’ bags on sale – they are a dead giveaway to the contents.
Peter uses a much-travelled day pack which has laptop friendly padding inside. From the outside it looks like a daggy over-used bag with little hint of the the laptop (sometimes two) inside.
