A price error on Amazon.ca would get you a cheap copy of Office 2010 – but there’s an even cheaper option.
Amazon Canada has put up the Office 2010 products, with prices.
UPDATE: the price quoted on Amazon.ca has now been updated to the correct ‘$669’ price. No word on whether they’ll honor sales at the lower price.
There’s a curious error which you could take advantage of, if you’re quick.
Microsoft Office Professional 2010 is listed at CDN$348 instead of the proper price of $669 (shown for the French language edition).
It’s not the best price Canadians can get for Office 2010 Professional.
You can buy Office 2007 Small Business upgrade for CDN$264 and get the Office 2010 Professional later – saving around $80 more than even Amazon.ca’s ‘typo error’ price.
Office 2010 Professional is available from purchases of Office 2007 Ultimate, Professional or Small Business. You’d expect Small Business to be the cheapest of those three but it’s not always the case. See here.
That’s assuming you have a copy of Office 2000, Office XP, Office 2003 or 2007 around to qualify for an upgrade — and most people (Office-Watch.com readers anyway) do.
