A free way to get your Office Product Key from a variety of sources.
ProduKey is another of the clever programs from Nirsoft. It reads a variety of Windows registry sources to display the Windows, Office and some other software product keys.
Most key recovery programs only operate only on a fully working computer, but ProduKey can access details on other computers and drives.
The main catch is that you need administrative access to the computer or drive to let ProduKey do its job.
ProduKey may be able to extract product key information from a registry file saved externally. This is useful if you’re trying to get the key details from the backup of a now defunct machine. Try the /Regfile option .
Assuming you have Admin access you can set ProduKey to scan your local network and get the product keys from each computer.
If you have more than one version of Windows installed on a computer (a multi-boot computer), ProduKey can get the product details from another instance of Windows without switching to it.
ProduKey is free, available in a variety of languages (see bottom of the download page) and doesn’t need installing (just download and run).
