Microsoft has released for public preview another cloud service – Project Madeira.
(not sure if this is a reference to the island, the wine, the cake, or the song by Flanders and Swann).
Project Madeira’s promotion is full of broad techno-babble and you’d be quite forgiven for not understanding what it does from explanations like ‘connect business processes’ and ’embedded experience ‘.
It’s an accounting and customer management system that works from Microsoft cloud services and driven from Outlook software (for Windows, it seems).

After the online setup you’ll see a sample company and data to play with in your browser. That will give you a better idea of this particular Madeira than the Microsoft gobbledygook does.
