Tamil language has been added to Microsoft’s suite of translation apps and services.
There’s about 70 million Tamil speakers mostly across Sri Lanka, India, Singapore and Malaysia.
We checked with Office 2016 for Windows, Office 365 and sure enough there was Tamil among the many language choices.
Beyond Office
The language is also on “Bing Translator”, “Microsoft Translator” apps, “PowerPoint” add-ins and API on Azure
Tamil joins Bengali and Hindi which are already supported by Microsoft.
