Microsoft shareholders should be happy with the company’s latest financial results for the quarter ending 30 June 2024 (Q4). Here’s a few highlights from an “Office Watch” point of view.
Office 365 Commercial Revenue growth was up 13% possibly due to the new Copilot for Microsoft 365 fees. (All these % figures are comparisons with the same quarter last year.)
Office Consumer products revenue was up a ‘mere’ 3% maybe because of Copilot Pro fees?
There are now 82.5 million Microsoft 365 consumer subscribers.
Microsoft’s push to cloud services continues with Azure and other cloud services revenue growth of a whopping 29%.
The only dark cloud is the drop ‘Devices’ revenue, meaning mostly Surface laptops, which is down 11% in revenue.
Overall, Microsoft had revenues of $245.1 billion an increase of 16% over the same quarter last year.
