Office 2007 escapes onto pirate sites.
Earlier this week copies of Office 2007 with a license key appeared on various Warez and peer-to-peer sharing sites.
Surprisingly the license key is accepted and the software is the final version. But you can expect that Microsoft will put that license key on their ‘banned’ list quickly. At some stage these illegal copies of Office 2007 will either stop working or dropped to ‘reduced functionality’ mode.
In short, don’t bother with the temptation. Even if the download works and hasn’t been ‘enhanced’ with some nasties – it won’t work forever. Better to get the real thing if you want it and the price is right.
