After requests from Office Watch readers, we’re happy to let Twitter users know when there’s new stuff at Office-Watch.com . Office Watch now has a Twitter account with automatic ‘tweets’ when we post new Microsoft Office news and tips on our site.

No spam: We don’t ‘spam’ Twitter users with many duplicate or irrelevant messages, as some people have started to do. We send ‘tweets’ only when there is a genuine new article on our web site.
Direct Messages – DM’s: we regret that we’re unable to respond to Twitter direct messages. Not only the time involved but the limitation of trying to answer technical questions in 140 characters
Office chatter on Twitter
It can be fascinating to see what people say about software as they work – many questions, some answers and plenty of anguish and outright anger.
We’ve setup some pages that make it easy to see the latest Twitter comments about
You don’t need a Twitter account but you can click on a link to see more info on the sender of any message or to any links they have sent.
Sometimes irrelevant items can appear – that’s because it’s hard for literally minded computers to tell the difference between ‘word’ meaning the unit of language or the word-processor. Same thing for ‘outlook’ and ‘pubisher’. Twitter messages can be written in haste and capitalization can’t be relied upon.
Language Warning: some Twitter messages can get a little ‘fruity’, usually when Office users show their frustration! Bad language can and does appear on the pages.
