The new version of Microsoft Office 2024 is now on sale to the general public all around the world. This is the ‘perpetual licence’ or single purchase release with no subscription fee.
Office 2024 is now available direct from Microsoft.com and some retailers at the same prices as Office 2021.

Outlook costs $100 more
You’re really paying $100 more just to get Outlook 2024.
Microsoft lists “OneNote” in the Home and Business bundle but OneNote is available to everyone as a free download.
Which Outlook? Outlook (classic) for Windows is included in Office 2024. There might be encouragements to use the incomplete Outlook (new) as an option.
Amazon and other retailers
Amazon US is offering Office 2024 Home only, for the same price as Microsoft.
They wrongly mention OneNote as being part of the Home 2024 bundle which it’s not … at least not officially.
And there’s references to Microsoft 365 as well … “Microsoft 365 has your back with readily available technical support through chat or phone.”.
As I type this, Amazon US has no listing for the Home and Business version of Office 2024. Presumably that will change.
Best Buy is selling both Office 2024 bundles at Microsoft’s pricing.
Costco doesn’t have Office 2024 … yet. Hopefully it’ll become available with some discounting in the form of rebate cards as Costco are doing for Office 2021 and Microsoft 365.

Amazon also sells a series of “Office 2024” products under the name ‘Truly’ in much smaller text. This is NOT a Microsoft product but will appear in searches for “Office 2024” and even offered as an alternative.

Unless you really need Microsoft Office now, it’s better to wait a little while before buying Office 2024.
Some discounts will become available, probably not a lot but some saving.
In the meantime keep using your existing Office software or the browser based apps for Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
