Save on Microsoft 365 at Costco

Costco members in the USA and Canada can save on Microsoft 365 and Office 2021 with discounts up to 28% on what Microsoft charges.

Microsoft 365 discounts

The Costco US deals involve an egift Visa card rebate and sometimes extra months too.

Microsoft 365 Family (six users) at Costco sells for the standard price of $99.99 plus tax but comes with:

  • 15 months instead of 12
  • A $10 Visa eGift card
  • “Electronic” online delivery

The Personal (one user) bundle at Costco sells for the standard price of $69.99 plus tax but only for 12 months but comes with:

  • A $10 Visa eGift card
  • “Electronic” online delivery.

The deals are a little complicated, so we’ve done a little spreadsheet to see that the Microsoft 365 Family offer amounts to a 28% discount – not too shabby.

That’s with online delivery so there’s no need to visit a store … just a Costco membership.

According to Costco the eGift card rebate and Microsoft 365 product code are delivered by email. That means the Microsoft 365 Product Code can be applied to any US based Microsoft account – yours or as a gift.

Office 2021 discounts

There are also some discounts on Office 2021 bundles in the form of egift Visa card rebates of $25 or $30.

Though at this time, might as well wait for Office 2024, due out next month for the same prices as Office 2021.

CANADA Costco offers

Above the 49th parallel, only Microsoft 365 Family has the 15-month for 12 offer but no gift card rebate.

Microsoft 365 Family with 15 months access is sold for CAD$109.99 – 99 cents more than the usual 12-month price.

Microsoft 365 Personal is sold at a slight $4.01 discount down to CAD$74.99

Office 2021 has ‘member only’ prices, see here if you’re a Costco member. Best to wait until October or whenever Office 2024 reaches Costco.

Alas we could not find any Microsoft 365 offers at Costco in the UK or Australia.
