New Office app coming to Windows 10

Microsoft is replacing the current ‘My Office’ gateway app with a new ‘Office’ app for Windows 10.

The Office app is a gateway to your Word, Excel, PowerPoint documents plus Outlook, OneDrive and SharePoint.

Who can get it?

Office app works with any Office 365 subscription, Office 2019, Office 2016, or Office Online (the browser based version of Office).

The app is free.

When?

Only Windows Insiders (Fast) can get the Office app now. It will gradually roll out to Slow level and eventually all Windows 10 users.

If you already have the My Office app, it will be updated to the new Office app.

Otherwise, search the Microsoft Store for ‘Office’ when it’s available.
