Only one Office related patch in July – for many and various flavours of Excel.
The patches cover three more ‘remote code execution’ problems where a craftily made Excel worksheet could allow unwanted nasty programs onto your computer.
The problems affect all versions of Excel from 2007 back to Excel 2000 plus the Excel 2003 viewer and the Office 2007 compatibility pack.
A later inclusion on the list of affected software was Office 2004 for Mac.
