Xlookup, the vast improvement on Vlookup/Hlookup is now available on Excel Mobile for iOS (iPhone/Ipad) and Android.

This is great news because it means Office 365 Windows/Mac workbooks can be fully compatible with Excel on mobile devices.

You can create or edit formula with XLookup() and refresh existing data that uses the function.

Xlookup Mobile availability

For the moment it’s just ‘Insiders’ getting the advance look but it’ll become widely available in a month or two (fingers crossed).

Look for this or later Excel Mobile versions …

Apple iOS, iPhone and iPad: Version 2.34 (20012701)

Android: Build 16.0.12527.20026

Or just try entering =Xlookup in an empty cell, if the function appears in the autocomplete list, you’re good to go.
