Print selected part from a Word document

Microsoft Word can print the selected parts of a document, not just the whole document,

Select the part of the document you want to print.

Word won’t let you print separated selections (made using the Ctrl key).

Go to File | Print (or Ctrl + P) and from the Settings list choose Print Selection.

The print preview does NOT change to show just the selection to be printed.

Then just print as normal.

Same for web pages

Some modern browsers have a similar feature to select a part of the web page then print just that selection.

On Google Chrome select then right-click and choose ‘Print…’.  Chrome’s Print box defaults to printing the selection and the preview shows that selection.

Microsoft Edge in Windows 10 does NOT have a Print Selection option.  You can right-click to the Print command but the Print dialog does not include a Print Selection choice.
