See the Microsoft 365 / Office simplified ribbon combined with Windows 11’s new accessibility feature, Voice Access.

Voice Access is a new way to control Windows by voice that’s in the 22H2 release of Windows 11.

Windows 11 for Microsoft Office users is already updated for 22H2 features including Voice Access and its counterpart Live Captions.

Navigating by numbers

Navigating Windows menus and ribbons is done by numbers.

Say ‘Show numbers’. Each button and box gets a numbered tag. Say that number to select that button or change focus to that box.

For example, say “Seventeen” to choose the Search box. Say “Thirty Eight” to make the selected text Bold.
