Office ‘all in one’ app now on Android

The ‘all in one’ Office app combining Word, Excel, PowerPoint with Office Lens and PDF support is now available for all comers with Android phones.

Office Watch did a comprehensive look at the Office app back in November when it was available to insiders.

Now it’s available to all at the Google Play Store.

No sign of the matching iOS/iPhone Office app going public, but it can’t be far behind.

System Requirements

According to Microsoft, the Office app will work with:

  • the last 4 major versions of the Android OS
  • an ARM-based or Intel x86 processor.
  • 1 GB RAM or above

Chromebooks and tablets are not supported.

Anyone can use the app but unspecified ‘Premium features’ are added for Office 365 customers.
